三．世界盡頭

 既然地球是圓的

根本就無所謂什麼

世界盡頭

除非我們把充滿熱情與友愛的

氣球刺破

或放走

而世界將成為

崎嶇難行

隨時都有可能墜落的

險地

──附註：英文的WORLD （世界）字少了O便成為殘缺不全的 W  RLD， 而「end of the world」便不僅僅是「世界盡頭」，更有可能成為「世界末日」了。

END OF THE WORLD

since the earth is round

there's no such thing

as the end of the world

unless we somehow lose or pop

the balloon

that is full of love and compassion

turning the WORLD

into

a rugged terrain

where one can fall any time

非馬

原名馬為義，英文名William Marr，1936年生於臺灣台中市，在原籍廣東潮陽度過童年。威斯康辛大學核工博士，於美國從事能源及環境系統研究工作多年。著有中英文詩集二十三種，包括二○一五年在巴黎出版的漢法雙語詩集《你我之歌》及漢英法三語詩集《芝加哥小夜曲》。詩作和翻譯曾多次得獎。詩作被譯成十多種文字，另散文集及譯著。非馬近年並從事繪畫與雕塑，舉辦了多次個展與合展。現居美國。
